Greer jr has rocketed through the ranks, letting his business in the ring write checks to build up that pot-of-gold for that championship title fight looming on the horizon.
Nieves will have a tall order come tomorrow night. He’s laced once before with a common opponent in Nikolai Potapov which he dropped a split decision in defeat but the caveat is Greer jr last opponent was Potapov which he won a majority decision notching his 18th straight victory. Next he would fight the hard hitting Naoya Inoue aliased “Monster” who stopped Nieves in the sixth-frame late 2017. Nieves wouldn’t return to compete again until 7/2018 earning a much needed spark in returning to his winning form stopping Christian Esquivel in three-frames. Next opposition would fair the same in 6/2019 as Nieves stopped Jose Alfredo in two-frames.
